At Breath of Dawn, we believe the best kind of rest begins the moment you arrive. Clinch View Cabin is our private mountain studio — tucked away on the farm with nothing but ridgeline, sky, and quiet in every direction.
Press a button, and the full glass automated door opens directly from your sleeping area, folding up to reveal the Clinch Mountains in their entirety. Let the morning light spill across the valley while you’re still in bed. Let the mountain air find you before the day does. This is what we built it for.
The cabin is designed for one or two guests who want space to truly settle in. The warm, wood-lined interior centers around a queen bed with cozy linens, with the mountains always in view. A cowhide rug, a small dining table, and thoughtful details throughout make it feel personal rather than polished.
The kitchenette is fully equipped for simple, satisfying meals: custom wood shelving, a mini fridge, a portable cooktop, toaster oven, cookware, dishes, and essential utensils — everything you need for a longer stay or an unhurried breakfast. Coffee and tea are provided to start your mornings right.
A flexible table doubles easily as a workstation, with USB charging and Wi-Fi nearby. Connectivity is there when you need it — but the views have a way of making you forget you brought a laptop.
The covered front porch opens directly to mountain views and includes outdoor cooking space within a fully enclosed setting — offering both privacy and ease, especially for guests traveling with pets.
Clinch View includes climate control via mini split, full electric power, and a private bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. No other cabins are visible from the property, and the surrounding land stays quiet — creating the kind of seclusion that’s hard to find and easy to settle into. The cabin does overlook one of our farm barns, which is currently unused.

As with everything at Breath of Dawn, this is a working rural farm. Guests may encounter natural sounds, wildlife, and seasonal insects as part of the landscape — we consider these features, not inconveniences. We ask guests to be partners in caring for the land: mindful water use and taking trash with you upon departure go a long way toward preserving the experience for the guests who come after you.
Self check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. Check-out is at 11:00 a.m. — late enough to linger over your last morning coffee. Early or late adjustments may be available when scheduling allows.
Pet-friendly (pet fee applies). Ideal for couples, solo travelers, and anyone ready for a meaningful pause from the noise of everyday life.

A Cabin With a Story
Clinch View Cabin was built using timber salvaged after Hurricane Helene moved through the mountains and left significant wind damage across the region. Rather than discard trees that were still strong, we chose to mill and repurpose them.
Much of the raw wood throughout the cabin came from storm-felled timber—cut, shaped, and given new purpose here on the property.
What could have been cleared and burned became structure and shelter instead.
Clinch View is simple, solid, and honest—small in footprint, expansive in view. It stands as a quiet reminder that resilience isn’t loud. It’s built.
Stay somewhere rooted in the land it came from.
