Just a short drive from Breath of Dawn, Pinnacle Natural Area Preserve is a beautiful place to experience the changing seasons. Follow the trail through the forest to Big Cedar Creek, cross the suspension bridge, and explore the unique rock formations and waterfalls along the way. In the fall, the trail becomes even more beautiful as the surrounding forest fills with color. It’s the kind of place where you’ll want to slow down, look around, and enjoy the scenery. For a view that makes you stop and reach for your camera, head to Bear Rock. High above the mountains, you’ll find sweeping Appalachian views that are especially beautiful when the surrounding ridges begin turning shades of red, orange, and gold.
