Perched on our 35-acre mountaintop property in Russell County, Virginia, the pavilion offers a simple, open-air setting designed for intentional gatherings.

This is not a traditional event venue.
It is a covered mountain shelter with expansive valley views, fresh air, and space to gather well.

The Space

  • Open sides with unobstructed views
  • Daytime rental (10:00am – 4:00pm)
  • Portable restroom access

The surrounding gravel and open perimeter allow additional flow beyond the covered footprint.

Capacity

To preserve comfort and protect the land:

Maximum Capacity: 40 guests

Ideal for:

  • 25–35 seated comfortably
  • Up to 40 mixed standing and seating

This capacity ensures manageable parking, sound control, and an intentional atmosphere.

10:00am – 4:00pm

Pricing

Weekday (Monday–Thursday): $300
Weekend (Friday–Sunday): $400

Additional time: $50 per hour (if available)

Important Considerations

This is a rustic, infrastructure-light space.

  • No electricity
  • No amplified music
  • Daytime use only
  • All decor must be freestanding
  • Guests must remove all trash

Sound travels across the valley. Respect for the surrounding land and neighbors is required.

Parking

On-site gravel parking is available for guests.
Final vehicle count will be discussed during booking to ensure safety and accessibility.

Stewardship Commitment

Breath of Dawn is a working agritourism and rural development property.
All pavilion use must align with land stewardship and responsible gathering practices.

We reserve the right to decline events that conflict with our property guidelines.
